Under reconstruction

A masterpiece of the famous former Yugoslavia’s architect Ivan Antic. The Contemporary Art Museum in Belgrade; a great legacy of the brilliant socialist architecture from long lost Tito-times. After five years of -so called- reconstruction, the hope of it ever opening again vanishes by the day. The past couple of months though, it was temporarily open to the public again. ‘What happened to the Contemporary Arts Museum?’ is the name of the cynical non-exhibition. Last sunday this exhibition closed as well. So, what will happen to the Contemporary Art Museum now? Nobody knows.
